In its 9th season, this residency camp for aspiring oboe students combines comprehensive master classes, reed making and chamber music, all in our new home at historic Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia. Located 50 miles north east of Atlanta, Brenau University offers unique facilities ideal for the performing arts. The session is geared for students 7th through 12th grades and developing adults.

 

Special guest faculty include Dr. Mark Ostoich, Professor of Oboe at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and Phyllis Harrison on piano. Classes will be taught by an outstanding array of teachers which include Julie Gulasy, Rebecca Collins, and Lisa Sayre. Charles Sayre will be composer in residence. This week long event concludes with both faculty and student recitals. Other oboe guests TBA.

  3. Total Fees: $650
    • Deposit of $250 due: April 15, 2008
    • Balance of $400 due: May 15, 2008
    • $50 Late fee for all final payments received after May 15, 2008
    • No refunds will be given for cancellation after June 15, there will be a $50 cancellation fee which will be deducted from the deposit before June 15, 2008.
